Welcome to my pilgrimage to the 88 Buddhist temples on the island of Shikoku. Join me on this spiritual journey as I explore the sacred temples and share my experiences. I'm excited to take you along on this meaningful adventure.

About Me.

I'm Carole, from Luxembourg, 54 years old, married to Eric, mother to a 14 year old son Sascha, dog mistress of a 6 year old rescue dog Leeloo. I work as Secretary at Domaine Henri Ruppert and my plan is to do the Shikoku Pilgrimage to the 88 Buddhist Temples from March to May 2025.

Follow me on this exquisite journey!

I would enjoy to hear/read from you. Let me know your thoughts, comments on my blog.

Thanks!

So where am I going to?

The pilgrimage goes around the island of Shikoku, see below. It's the 4th largest island of Japan and is situated to the south of Hiroshima and Osaka. Shikoku is divided into 4 prefectures: Tokushima, Kochi, Ehime and Kagawa.
